Dr. Harry Wasvary

Dr. Wasvary is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with over 20 years experience. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Chief of Colon-Rectal Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak), and Director of Beaumont's Multidisciplinary Colorectal Tumor Clinic.

Dr. Jason Shellnut

Dr. Shellnut is a board certified colon and rectal surgeon with over 12 years experience and is affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Grosse Pointe. He is an Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Dr. Matthew Ziegler

Dr. Ziegler practiced as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Indiana University School of medicine for three years before joining Oakland Colon & Rectal Associates in the fall of 2014. He currently specializes in colon and rectal surgery and provides screening colonoscopies.

Dr. Claire Peeples

Dr. Peeples is joining us after completing her colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic (Florida). She is board certified in general surgery and in Colon & Rectal surgery. She is specifically interested in advanced laparoscopic techniques in colon & rectal cancer and surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders.
