Dr. Donald Barkel

Dr. Barkel serves as the Program Director for the Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency at Beaumont Hospital as well as being the Medical Director of Beaumont's Endoscopy Department and chairing the Hospital's Surgical Quality Assessment Committee.

Dr. Harry Wasvary

Dr. Wasvary is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with over 20 years experience. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Chief of Colon-Rectal Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak), and Director of Beaumont's Multidisciplinary Colorectal Tumor Clinic.

Dr. Claire Peeples

Dr. Peeples is joining us after completing her colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic (Florida). She is board certified in general surgery and in Colon & Rectal surgery. She is specifically interested in advanced laparoscopic techniques in colon & rectal cancer and surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders.
